I call this one "The Routine." You get to see Bex's favorite move, "the leg bounce," plus the special additions of "the arm flap" and (my personal favorite multi-move) "the face plant into the blowfish."

Christmas Music in Springtime

Bex has gotten really into dancing lately. It is so funny to watch him groove. He starts out slowly swaying and then moves onto the shoulder dance and- if he's really feeling it-the full spin. He definitely enjoys dancing to music, but he will also do a happy jig if he's eating something that he likes or finds a toy that amuses him. I love it!

Beckett's Birthday Luau

I can't believe how fast the last year has gone by. We celebrated Beckett's first birthday on February 19th. I decided to have a big luau in honor of his "keiki first birthday". Grandma and Grandpa Wulff came out to help us celebrate and they brought some really fun toys! He got his first sports car. It has a radio and blinkers and a horn and he LOVED cruising up and down the hall way.
Could a one year old get a cooler present? You can see by the look on his face that he feels pretty special when he's riding in his car.
We had a fun group of people come out to help us celebrate his birthday. Here he is "blowing" out his first birthday candle. I think he really just wanted to eat it. He played and played with everyone at the party and by the time the cake came he was pretty tuckered out.

We gave him a big slice of cake which he totally enjoyed eating. I was a little hesitant to let him have that much sugar, but it was his birthday so I went with it. I was amazed at how quickly that sugar went into his system. He perked right up after he finished eating it. (see video below)
